Our founder’s journey began over two decades ago, spending 20 years at a leading steering wheel refurbishment & manufacturing. During those two decades, I mastered the intricate art of structural repairs, foam replacement, and precision upholstery. I wasn’t just an employee; I was a specialist, becoming a master of my craft.

From Employee to Owner

When my long-time mentor and boss decided to retire, a new chapter began. Refusing to let decades of specialised knowledge go to waste, I took a bold leap of faith, purchased the original manufacturing equipment, and launched Steering Wheel Works.

For the past 5 years, we have operated as a proud, Black female-owned business. This milestone is more than just a title; it represents a huge step forward in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
